REFERRALS AND CONNECTIONS
 
 
Relationships with families and community partners are the basis for work by MSEHS staff.

Relationships with community partners help create opportunities for parents to access resources to support their needs and plans for their family. MSEHSworks with other agencies on committees and projects tomake moreresources and services available to all children and families.

MSEHS Family Consultants provide both formal referrals to community services and informal suggestions for families to investigate for assistance they may need. A resource list is also available for families to use. On home visits, FCs often share information about upcoming events and activities being held at the EHS center or in town so that families are able to attend if they wish.

MSEHS has made participating in collaborative efforts and working to build capacity in our communities a priority. Sharing large community training with partners and the community at large, developing collaborative grants, and working on communty commitees helpsthe whole communty grow stronger and accomplish more forchildren and families who live here.
